This is my third commissioned Christmas painting of 2018.
I created this painting from a number of photographs.
I tried to tell a story with this painting and got a lot of help
from my first cousin, Dr. Michael Quick! He was a captive
audience while I drew in the composition and the open gate
was his brilliant idea! He is an awesome guy and I love him.
